Important information for Canberra and Queanbeyan residents
- Given Canberra’s low cold-water temperatures it is unlikely that many of these units will provide hot water at a comfortable temperature and volume for showering.
- Incoming cold water temperatures may drop to as low as 12°C during winter.
- Existing power circuits may not be able to carry the electrical load of a single phase HWS.
These units may cause circuit breakers to trip. It is best to consult an electrician before choosing one of these units.
The DHCE6/50 single phase hot water heater requires 1 phase of plug in power and draws 29.6 amps at 240 Volts. It will provide 4 litres of hot water per minute for a temperature rise of 25°C above the incoming water temperature.
The DHCE60/50 single phase hot water heater requires 1 phase of plug in power and draws 29.6 amps at 240 Volts. It will provide 4 litres of hot water per minute for a temperature rise of 33°C above the incoming water temperature.
The DHCE8/50 single phase hot water heater requires 1 phase of plug in power and draws 29.6 amps at 240 Volts. It will provide 4 litres of hot water per minute for a temperature rise of 33°C above the incoming water temperature.
The DHCE8/60 single phase hot water heater requires 1 phase of power and draws 39.6 amps at 240 Volts. It will provide 4 litres of hot water per minute for a temperature rise of 33°C above the incoming water temperature. This system requires the installation of a tempering valve when hot water is required at hand basins, baths, shows and bidets.

The DEM6 + Sensor tap single phase under sink HWS
Made in Germany, this system provides Touch free endless hand-washing.
Sold with a chrome sensor tap to provide the best solution to hygiene as your hands do not need to come into contact with the tap. This is particularly important in shared bathrooms, where users are exposed to germs from other users.
Designed for supplying a single hand basin only, with a temperature delivery up to a maximum of 50 °C. Drawing 25.8 amps at 240 volts they will provide 2.5 litres of hot water per minute for a temperature rise of 35°C above the incoming water temperature.
